Floor Pans on the Body

I try to use as much of the original sheet metal as possible, and try to use
OEM parts when available.

I have used several after market floor pans in the past and there is no
comparison to OEM!

There are two patches of after market pans on the drivers side one in the front
and one in the back. The patch under the back seat came from a donor car,
thanks to my friend Danny Harris.

After installation and grinding, and sealing the joints with epoxy, and sealing
the seams with flexible silicone, the complete floor was painted with rust
resistant oil based paint that is chip resistant and fade resistant high gloss
black paint that had powder added for resilience and will help to seal and will
serve as a sound deadener. The only think left to do with the cabin is to
overlay this whole area with Dynamat Sound Deadener.
Vacation Time is a great time to locate parts for the
next phase of the restoration.
